began a new chapter entering our 21st year of Angels On The Bay, the story of Valentina Marie Allen, the child known to have “Half a Heart But Twice The Fight” reassures us we must continue our endeavors to raise funds and awareness for children who need a little miracle. She was a blessing and joy to those who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives. Valentina who was the great-granddaughter of one of our long time Board Members, Nicholas LoPrinzi, was a fighter for the two years she was with us. Born with HLHS – hypoplastic left heart syndrome, heterotaxy, and asplenia, she underwent many surgeries but lost her battle on May 12, 2015. She is now a Princess amongst the Angels in heaven forever watching over us all. This Angel is now serves as our guardian, our inspiration, as we continue in our journey.
Angels On The Bay believes there are people like you and I who are seeking hope in a troubled and confused world, a cure from prolonged illness and fatal disease and an answer to a special prayer.
Our mission is to support the programs and facilities that provide quality health care and services to our children, to seek knowledge and compassion from those who give hope and genuine care to all and share our beliefs and enthusiasm for the positive power of commitment, family and community.
We believe that Angels are the guardians of hope and wonder and the keepers of dreams. We are all Angels in training…we need only recognize the power of potential.
The Angels On The Bay Benefit Ball will not only be a celebration of food, wine, music and dance, but a marriage of pure giving and physical healing to benefit our children and our future.

The Russo family tradition of hospitality started over 50 years ago when the Villa Russo in Richmond Hill opened its doors. Frank Russo Sr. believed that exemplary service and exquisite cuisine combined with professional attention to detail was the best way to achieve customer satisfaction. Those beliefs were passed down to his son, Frank Russo Jr. who opened Russo’s On The Bay in 1987. We have had the honor of hosting events spanning some of our customer’s lifetimes from baptisms to Communions to Sweet 16’s to Weddings.
Our senior management team has over 200 years of combined experience directing the most lavish events and parties. The most memorable of occasions calls for an exemplary standard in catering. At Russo’s On The Bay, we take pride in offering you the most elegant of surroundings. We have an award-winning, highly skilled staff, proficient in all aspects of the hospitality industry. You will find our staff to be courteous, prepared and genuinely concerned with the success of your affair.
